Love Thy Neighbour
This autumn we are hosting a conference entitled Love Thy Neighbour to encourage Christians to live incarnationally as Good News among their neighbours. Steve Bell, the National Director of Interserve will be our main Speaker.

In today’s increasingly multi-faith Britain, the church faces great challenges to remain effective in being Good News to their neighbours. Multi-ethnic and ethnic-minority churches often face especially great challenges with rapidly changing communities. Striking a balance between promoting a strong, positive self-identity and remaining relevant beyond the church congregation is difficult.

In his highly insightful way, Steve Bell, author of Friendship First (2001), Grace for Muslims (2007) and Gospel for Muslims (2011) addresses the subject of Being Good News To Muslim Neighbours.

The conference aims to challenge us church members and leaders to love our neighbours by looking beyond our walls to see how we can bless the neighbours God has blessed us with. To provide practical training on understanding our neighbours of different faiths and cultures and to share encouraging good practice stories from similar communities around the UK.
